3300 год. Наша галактика подверглась нашествию доминаторов — боевых роботов, вышедших из-под контроля. Коалиция пяти рас - малоков, пеленгов, людей, фэян и гаальцев - делает ставку на космических рейнджеров, призванных уничтожить доминаторов. 

Теперь ты рейнджер. Выбирай расу, получай корабль, отправляйся в дорогу. Сражайся в космосе и гиперпространстве. Занимайся торговлей. Выполняй правительственные задания. Освобождай планеты от доминаторов. И, конечно же, решай текстовые квесты, каждый из которых является отдельным приключением. 

Как будут развиваться события — предугадать невозможно. Игра может закончиться победой любой стороны или длиться бесконечно долго. Все зависит от действий игрока и обитателей живого мира, в котором можно сделать карьеру гнусного пирата или прославленного героя, который разберется в причинах появления доминаторов и сможет остановить эту кровопролитную войну. 

Нововведения (отличия от Космические рейнджеры 2: Доминаторы): 
- 20 новых текстовых квестов 
- 27 новых карт для планетарных сражений 
- Новые правительственные задания 
- Новое оборудование и уникальные корпуса, включая три супер-корабля 
- Новые режимы игры: последовательное прохождение всех текстовых квестов и планетарных битв 
- Расширенный интерфейс трюма и информационного центра 
- 10 новых карт для боев в гипер-пространстве

Now you're a ranger. Choose a race, get a ship going in the road. Fight in space and hyperspace. Engage in trade. Undertake government job. Liberate the planet from the dominators. And, of course, solved text quests, each of which is a separate adventure.

How events will unfold - it is impossible to predict. The game may end in victory for any party or go on indefinitely. It all depends on the player's actions and the inhabitants of the living world, where you can make a career of the infamous pirate or a famous hero who will understand the reasons for the emergence of dominators and be able to stop this bloody war.
